My mom spent Thursday-Saturday of last week with us and it was so nice having her here. She was able to help me with housework and laundry which was more helpful than I could have even imagined. Having her here took so much stress off of me. It was just nice to know that someone else was here in case I needed them. Thankfully we had no major meltdowns!

It was also nice to have my mom with me last Friday to go with Ryder and I to his first pediatrician appointment. I was a nervous wreck for his appointement because he was having his circumcision done that day as well - we couldn't get it done in the hospital because we had to waiti for Ryder's bloodwork to come back to tell us whether or not he has my clotting disorder, he doesn't thank goodness - so I was feeling very anxious about the whole thing. Ryder did beautifully and slept through the whole thing!

On Friday night we had dinner over at my sister's house. It was nice to get out of the house and I was surprised at how easy it was for us to get out of the house with our little guy. On Saturday our good friends Drew and Tori drove over from Tracy, MN to spend the day with us and meet Ryder. It was very nice to see them. We grilled out and had a fire in our backyard. A few of our neighbors stopped by to meet Ryder, as well. It was a fun night.

Sunday and Monday were nice, relaxing days spent at home with just Jason, Ryder, and I. It was nice to have some time just for the 3 of us. We spent the days relaxing and just spending time with our son. It was a perfect couple of days and I enjoyed every second.
